One of the most important lessons I ever learned is that it does not matter where you come from or how you were raised. What does matter is discipline and the drive you carry within you to overcome adversity. Now I enjoy the life of a self-made entrepreneur in stark contrast to being homeless, broke and living in my car several years ago.
